IamVoip Is Expanding

Its been six months now that I’ve been involved with IamVoip and last weekend I spent my Saturday packing up boxes of office supplies into the back of a rental truck. No, were not going out of business, were expanding.

This is an exciting time for me. Everyone loves to tell stories about the humble beginnings of todays most successful companies, like when Bill Gates started Microsoft in a garage or how the massage therapist at Google became a millionaire. Yes its the old rags to riches stories we all love but its also a time when we can relate. Its a time when these companies have a humanistic vulnerability, back before they became untouchable icons of success.

I’m excited because its my turn to be apart of one of these stories. In my entrepreneurial business school classes, I got to study the fundamentals of what makes a good company become a great company and IamVoip scores a perfect ten. Yes, maybe I’m a little biased, but not by very much, maybe around half a point or so.

This is Rey and I, he’s a pivotal member of the team and concentrates his efforts on assisting customers and new agents with technical problems. He’s also got a little problem of his own here trying to untangle a mess of wires. Rey is a brilliant mathematician and was an actual rocket scientist for a while. No joke.

I’m testing out the chairs in our new conference room. They’re pretty nice but we need to get some ESPN on the flat screen so we can get some work done.

The new office is great. Its much bigger than our last one so we have more room to grow before we move to an even bigger office. We even have a secretary now to help us with all the calls.
